In 2018, Kumar Mangalam Birla, chairman of the Aditya Birla Group, emerged as the highest bidder for the sea-facing Jatia House in Mumbai.
The property spans over 30,000 square feet and was purchased by Kumar Mangalam Birla for Rs 425 crore after a day-long auction.
The interiors feature a brown and beige color scheme, with wall cladding matching the ceilings, both designed from Burma teakwood. The bungalow boasts 20 bedrooms.
